This enables efficient realization of custom-made products, prototypes, as well as small and medium series. MANUFACTURING

Eibach is globally recognized as a leading manufacturer of high-quality suspension and chassis systems, as well as technical specialty springs for demanding applications. Our broad range of applications covers almost all premium sectors of industrial and automotive technology.
With a coil and bar stock of approximately 4,000 different grades, designs, and dimensions, we ensure material availability for prototypes, single pieces, small, and large series.
Our top priorities? The highest quality and maximum flexibility.
The use of state-of-the-art CNC technology in all manufacturing areas allows us to minimize setup times while maintaining high precision, small tolerances, and optimal product quality.
We fulfill just-in-time and just-in-sequence deliveries via a comprehensive barcode-controlled finished goods warehouse—whether standardized or custom-made products.

 

Some of our outstanding manufacturing features include:

  • Advanced CNC cold forming of high-strength alloy spring materials up to 19 mm wire thickness and cold forming of patented carbon wires up to 22 mm
  • Cold-formed springs made from ring material (e.g., 51CrV4), tempered after forming, up to 40 mm wire diameter
  • Innovative machine technologies developed in-house
  • Precise chamfering of spring ends (inside and outside) using robots and specialized handling systems
  • Independent tool and gauge construction
  • Optimization of dynamic spring lifespan through specialized shot-peening processes (e.g., stress peening)
  • Minimization of spring relaxation properties through optimized heat-setting processes
  • CNC bending technology for cost-effective production of stabilizers, made from solid material or tubes, in small batches or series
  • Modern end-processing of stabilizers using robots and proprietary technologies
  • Bonded PV rubber bushings with specially developed systems and technologies
  • Zinc phosphating followed by powder coating (PE/EP powder paints)
  • Extensive color palette with specially formulated, UV-resistant, and highly corrosion-protective powder coatings
  • Product marking via specialized printing and labeling processes

INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Our integrated management system seamlessly combines quality, environmental, energy, and sustainability aspects and is firmly embedded in our processes. Our system managers and leadership continuously develop these systems further. Eibach also focuses on the ongoing improvement and strengthening of relationships with customers and suppliers, prioritizing the well-being of our employees, partners, and the environment.

TESTING AND INSPECTION FACILITIES

We go beyond standard product testing and utilize state-of-the-art inspection facilities to validate all product characteristics and ensure proven Eibach quality. These include:

  • Testing under climatic cycling conditions
  • Dynamic testing of coil springs, secondary springs, and stabilizers under normal conditions (dry testing) and corrosive conditions (wet testing)
  • Force axis and eccentricity testing of force-penetration points on coil springs
  • Relaxation tests
  • 3D measurement systems (measuring space up to approximately 1,600 mm × 1,600 mm × 1,600 mm)
  • Drag motor test center for valve springs (Spintron test method)
  • Shock absorber durability tests
  • Metallographic examinations

CORROSION PROTECTION

Effective corrosion protection keeps our parts durable, safe, and high-performing. Through Eibach Oberflächentechnik GmbH, we also offer the micro-layer corrosion protection system microcor® with components such as Delta®-Tone | Delta®-Seal | Magni.

Application methods include:

  • Dipping
  • Centrifuging or
  • Spraying
    with no risk of hydrogen embrittlement.

Advantages of this system include:

  • High temperature resistance
  • Low coating thickness
  • Various color options thanks to the organic topcoat
  • Adjusted sliding properties via PTFE additives
  • Corrosion tests (Kesternich | salt spray | cyclic climate) with or without pre-damage to the coating, such as by stone chip simulation, ensure effectiveness.

Other surface protection methods are secured through capable subcontractors.

Ford Ranger Wildtrak

Der neue Ford Ranger Wildtrak in der “Eibach Edition” wird in Zukunft vor allem als Zugfahrzeug für unsere Modulbox zum Einsatz kommen. Selbstverständlich haben wir dem Ranger schon unsere Eibach Pro-Lift-Kit Höherlegungsfedern und Pro-Spacer Spurverbreiterungen verbaut! Das Pro-Lift-Kit für den Ford Ranger optimiert das Fahrzeug auf ganzer Linie und bringt an Vorder- und Hinterachse ca. 30-35 mm mehr Bodenfreiheit. Unser Partner Hansen Styling Performance Parts ist Spezialist für Off-Road Fahrzeuge – keine Frage, dass die Firma Hansen ein großes Interesse an unserem Ford Ranger hatte. Neben diversen Anbauteilen für die Karosserie und Lichtleisten auf dem Dach sowie an der Stoßstange, haben wir die W-TEC EXTREME “BLACK EDITION” Alufelgen auf dem Ford montiert. Ummantelt wird die Felge von Yokohama Reifen. Der GEOLANDAR A/T G015 gilt als außergewöhnlicher All-Terrain Reifen mit fortschrittlichsten Technologien. Er ist speziell für Pick-Ups und Fahrzeuge mit Allrad Antrieb entwickelt und zeichnet sich durch seine fortschrittliche Laufstreifen-Technologie mit 3D-Lamellen, optimiertem Profil-Negativ und neuer Pitch-Variation aus.
