Successful Trainees with Refugee Backgrounds Honored by the EIBACH Foundation

At the start of their training, the widely quoted motto “We can do it” served as motivation for successful social integration. Today, that ambition has become a reality:

Emamul Hoque (Liese Painting Company), Thierno Diallo (Polygonvatro), Mohamed Djallo (Besting Painting Company), and Khaleel Kelasch (Wicker Carpentry) have successfully completed their apprenticeships. Their achievements, in addition to their personal motivation and perseverance, are also a result of the steadfast support from their training companies and the exceptional commitment of the EIBACH Foundation.

The chassis specialist from Finnentrop has been supporting educational initiatives in the region for years and played a crucial role in the success of these trainees by providing targeted assistance. By funding supplementary lessons, particularly focusing on teaching technical language relevant to skilled trades, the foundation contributed significantly to the trainees’ exam success. Jana Kristin Grebe, a trainee teacher at the Olpe District Vocational College, developed the lesson plan and conducted the classes. In addition to delivering the specialized content, she also offered personal guidance and support to the trainees.

As a token of appreciation, the successful graduates received awards from the Chairwoman of the EIBACH Foundation, Mrs. Kuklinski. During a small ceremony at the vocational college in Attendorn, they were also presented with handmade Christmas decorations developed in the new TeccLab (Technology Education Construction Collaboration Laboratory) and manufactured using modern laser technology.
