Sunny Farewell Celebration at the All-Day School (OGS) Finnentrop

On Wednesday, June 15, 2022, the children of the all-day school in Finnentrop celebrated the end of the current school year with a farewell party, simultaneously bidding goodbye to the fourth-grade students.

As a token of appreciation for their wonderful time at the OGS, the children surprised their supervisors with a self-written song and concluded the afternoon with various games. The celebration was filled with both farewell tears and shared joy, reflecting the emotions of the day.

Throughout the school year, the OGS offers children a diverse weekly program. With various materials, meals, and activities, every day is unique. The program combines academic support, such as homework assistance, with extracurricular activities, providing a balanced mix of education and recreation. The OGS also integrates individual language support as part of its educational offering, complementing the school and full-day schedule.

The funding provided by the Eibach Foundation enables the organization (DRK) to implement this special project.

Next year, the Eibach Foundation will continue to support this unique initiative and wishes the supervisors, parents, and children as much fun, success, mutual respect, and varied afternoons as in previous years.
